Smart farm hardware — connected to the Throf app
Electronic ID, tag reading with your phone, and weights saved automatically in each animal’s file — no notebook, no typing.
Throf provides three devices that work with its herd app for sheep, goat and camel farms: electronic RFID ear tags to identify every head, a Bluetooth reader that reads the tag and opens the animal’s file on your phone, and a smart scale that reads the animal’s tag and sends its weight straight into its weight history in Throf.
RFID electronic ear tags
A permanent electronic number for every head — read in a second and opening the animal’s file in Throf, instead of paint marks and notebooks.
Details →Bluetooth RFID reader
Read a camel’s chip or a sheep’s tag and Throf shows its file: age, stage, vaccinations, weights.
Details →Smart livestock scale
Weigh a sheep or goat: the scale reads its tag and sends the weight to Throf — no paper, no typing.
Details →Why now?
- Camel microchipping is mandatory in Saudi Arabia, and the Camel Passport links the chip to breed, vaccinations and ownership.
- Slaughter livestock in Saudi markets and pens must be sold by weight on approved scales from 1 Muharram 1447 AH.
- In Abu Dhabi, sheep, goats, cattle and camels must be identified and registered through TAMM.
